Beyoncé at The Grammy Awards: She’s Set A New Record

And first for black women in music…

Beyoncé at The Grammy Awards: Everything you need to know about Queen Bey’s big wins from the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

What a way to start 2023…

Beyoncé makes history today as she takes home her 32nd Grammy award, beating out composer Georg Solti’s record for most Grammys ever won.

The pop superstar — who recently announced she would be going on tour later this year — won her fourth victory early Monday morning, cleaning up in the Best R&B Song category for “Cuff It” and scoring Best Dance Album for Renaissance, making her the first black woman to win the category.

“Dressed in Balmain, she proudly showed off three out of four of her awards on Instagram. “We won 3 y’all! To my Hive, thank y’all so much for all of your love and loyalty! Big thank you for the BREAK MY SOUL and CUFF IT wins!!! To The Dream, Tricky, HOV, and Big Freedia. I love y’all! Syd, I’ve always been such a fan of yours. Thank you. Nova Wav, Morten Ristorp, Raphael Saadiq, and Nile Rodgers, thank you for pouring into CUFF IT. Big thanks to Sabrina Claudio, Nick Green and Patrick Paige II. PLASTIC OFF THE SOFA is my favorite song on RENAISSANCE most days. It’s hard to pick though. Haaa. It feels great to be honored for the vocal performance. Thank you to all the talented vocalists who killed those beautiful TikTok renditions! I feel very grateful and filled with joy,” she wrote in the caption.

The award-winning performer was spotted collecting her award from Trevor Noah at the ceremony in a custom Gucci dress.

This record-setting moment comes less than a month after Queen Bey performed at Atlantis The Royal opening weekend in an exclusive concert that featured appearances by Lebanese dance troupe, The Mayyas; costumes by regional designers Nicolas Jebran and Atelier Zuhra; and a finale where she rose above the water.
