Known as one of the most prestigious events in the global cinema calendar, the 2022 Cannes Film Festival is back with a lineup of the most recent releases by some of our favourite International and regional creatives. The Palais de Festivals has been graced by the likes of Grace Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor, and Sophia Loren, making it a notable spot for not only films and entertainment but also iconic fashion moments.
In recent years, the red carpet has seen a rise in Bollywood representation with the attendance of Indian A-listers like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, and more. And this year is no different; the 75th Cannes Film Festival has an exciting lineup of stars attending, and we couldn’t be happier.

Deepika Padukone
A Cannes classic, Deepika will be attending this year’s 75th Film Festival as a member of the jury, an honourable position previously held by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, and Vidya Balan, amongst other Indian stars. Known for her on-point ensembles, the popular actress and Louis Vuitton’s newest brand ambassador recently shared images in a Louis Vuitton gown that looked like a piece of art.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
This Cannes Film Festival is extra special for Aishwarya as it marks 20 years since her first appearance at the global premiere of Devdas. The beautiful actress has had iconic red carpet moments at Cannes, from a yellow sari to a Jean Louis Sabaji gown. We are curious to see what the artist chooses to wear on the carpet this year, and if her Valentino Fall/Winter 2022 look is anything to go by, Bazaar Arabia is certain she will impress.
Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi, whose list of films includes Padmavaat and Khoobsuratwill be making her Cannes debut this year. The star has recently caused quite the buzz online for her elegant ensembles, and her decision to blend Indian and European fashion in a Sabyasachi gown and jewellery with Saint Laurent heels in Cannes did not disappoint.
Pooja Hegde
Actress and social media sensation Pooja Hedge will also be making her debut at this year’s 75th Film Festival. The Indian star made her Bollywood debut in Mohenjo Daro alongside Hrithik Roshan and since has grown her following, making her one of the most loved stars in the industry. Pooja recently shared images of her final Cannes look in a stunning embellished Tarun Tahiliani jumpsuit and cape.
Hina Khan
The 75th Film Festival will be Hina Khan’s second appearance on the Cannes red carpet following her 2019 debut. The actress and TV star will also be revealing the poster for her upcoming Hindi-English film, Country of Blind, based on the short story by H. G. Wells. Hina shared a series of stunning images to her Instagram in a chic Balestra suit in the brand’s iconic blue to mark her week in Cannes.
