Fans of the award-winning artist Britney Spears went manic after the Gimme More singer deleted her Instagram page. Police officers received several calls from fans to check whether the star was fine. Law enforcement officials from Ventura Co. Sheriff’s Office spoke to TMZ about the incident as the situation got series.
Police officers immediately arrived at the star’s Thousand Oaks residence, where they determined that there was no imminent danger to her. However, the celebrity gossip outlet is unsure if the cops indeed spoke to Britney or were reassured by someone else.
Fans’ concerns could have been fuelled by a recent public incident where witnesses captured a scene between Britney and her husband, Sam Asghari, which allegedly led him to storm out of the restaurant.
The 2000s pop icon, however, expressed her disappointment over the experience on Twitter.

“I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded”, she wrote. Being depicted in an unfair light in the past, especially during a crisis in 2007 that could have been fuelled by constantly being in the public eye, Britney talked about yet again being in the news for personal matters.
She requested fans to respect her privacy moving forward and shared her love with them as she wrapped the note.
