From iconic movie characters to uncanny resemblances of fellow celebrities, these A-Listers stole the show this year
As halloweekend took place, celebrities took to social media to share their impressive costumes, paying homage to iconic movie characters and even fellow stars. Bazaar Arabia presents a glimpse of 20 celebrity Halloween costumes of the year.
Kendall Jenner
The model and reality TV star never fails to impress with her Halloween costumes. This year, she channelled the iconic Marilyn Monroe and took to Instagram to share a picture of her costume writing “happy birthday mister president” referring to Marilyn’s famous performance for President Kennedy.
For her second outfit, Kendall transformed into the famous DC comics character Wonder Woman and recreated the iconic scene when Diana Prince transforms into her superhero costume.
Kim Kardashian And North West
This mother-daughter duo dressed up as Cher Horowitz and Dionne Marie Davenport, who appear as best friends in the 1995 movie Clueless. Kim was dressed in the iconic Mona May yellow plaid blazer and skirt design that was recreated by Dolce&Gabbana, while North wore a matching set in black.
Kim And Khloé Kardashian
While many dressed up as Barbie this Halloween, Kim and Khloé dressed up as Bratz dolls and wore custom outfits by Julian Méndez Couture. With what looks like a combination of snake-skin and plaid patterns, the supermodel sisters stunned in this high-fashion get-up.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner
Originally played by Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar, Kendall and Kylie dressed up as Sugar and Spice from the 1995 hit film Batman Forever. In the movie, both the characters tried to gain the affection of super-villian Two-Face.

Kourtney Kardashian
Kourtney Kardashian has often been teased for copying her sister Kim’s style (and even her wedding), but decided to own it this Halloween. She recreated Kim’s Met Gala look in 2013 when Kim was pregnant with North.
Paris Hilton
Paris dressed up as the stewardess from Britney Spears’ well-known Toxic music video. Taking to Instagram the American media personality posted a picture captioned ‘Icons support icons’.
Hailey Bieber
Embodying every one of the Plastics, Hailey Bieber dressed up in preppy attire from the 2004 hit movie Mean Girls. The supermodel posed for the remake of the iconic poster and a page from the Burn Book.
Justin and Hailey Bieber
Justin and Hailey donned a couples outfit inspired by the iconic American animated show The Flintstones. Hailey dressed up as Pebbles Flintstone while Justin wore a caveman outfit for Bamm-Bamm Rubble. Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm end up tying the knot in the series.
Megan Thee Stallion
Inspired by Tim Burton’s gothic remake of Alice in Wonderland, this hip-hop artist dressed up as one of the tall flowers that appear when Alice falls into the Underland, the dystopian relative of Alice’s Wonderland.
Halle Bailey and DDG
Disney’s The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey dressed up as the singer Janet Jackson and her boyfriend, DDG, dressed up as the late rapper Tupac Shakur. This iconic musical duo was celebrated for their whirlwind romance in the 1993 movie, Poetic Justice.
Ed Sheeran
A perfect get-up for a red-head like himself, Ed Sheeran dressed up as the possessed Chucky doll from the the Child’s Play horror franchise. With scars on his face and blood on his jumpsuit, this costume really gives us the ‘shivers.’
Megan Fox
Megan Fox attended the Casamigos Halloween Party as a character from Quentin Tarantino’s 2003 classic, Kill Bill: Volume 1. Her beau, Machine Gun Kelly, joined her in a matching couples costume.
Zayn Malik
The typically low-key singer Zayn Malik went all out this Halloween with prosthetic make-up to embody Lord Voldemort, the main antagonist in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Without his hair and an apparent nose, the musician is almost unrecognisable.
Adele
Ever since the release of the hit Netflix tv series Wednesday, The Addams Family is back on everyone’s radar. This year, Grammy-winning singer Adele dressed up as Morticia Addams, the witchy matriarch of the family, and even performed in the outfit.
Keke Palmer
This adorable mother-son duo donned costumes from the 1935 movie Bride of Frankenstein, with Keke dressed up as the protagonist and her son Leodis dressed up as Doctor Septimus Pretorius, who plays the main antagonist in this vintage film.
Mariah Carrey
Camila Mendes
Riverdale actress Camila Mendes transformed into Julie Newmar’s Catwoman, donning a sleek black suit, cat ears, and even fake claws. She attended a Halloween party alongside her Riverdale cast members and best friends Lili Reinhart and Madelaine Petsch.
Lili Reinhart
Although many prefer to don as David Ayer’s version of Harley Quinn that appeared in Suicide Squad, Camila’s co-star Lili Reinhart dressed up as the original version of the iconic character as she appears in DC Comics’ Batman: The Animated Series.
Heidi Klum
The Queen of Halloween, Heidi Klum lived up to our expectations with this Queen of Hearts ensemble from Tim Burton’s spooky recreation of the classic Alice in Wonderland. With layers of make-up and a prosthetic forehead, Heidi left no stone unturned.
Saving the best for last, Heidi stunned in this over-the-top Cirque du Soleil inspired peacock get-up. With an entire cast of performers dressed up as her feathers, Heidi made a grand entrance at her annual Halloween party and amazed the crowd with an aerobatic show.
