Honouring high profile personalities within the Arab world of entertainment, culture and film, the 2024 Distinctive International Arab Festival Awards (DIAFA) took place yesterday evening at Jumeirah Emirates Towers, with powerful performances by Tina Yamout, Rahma Riad, Faouzia, Russian pop sensation Katya Lel, and Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen.
Bazaar Qatar cover star Salma Abu Deif and Syrian Zeina Yazigi both took home awards for their journalistic achievements, as did Turkish actress Demet Özdemir, for her work in television and film.
Guests brought their sartorial A-Game to the illustrious awards ceremony—the red carpet was alight with statement looks by Maison Yeya, while Swarovski accessories and jewels by Damiani sparkled with every camera flash.
