Cue the tears! Hailey and Justin Bieber are expecting their first child together.
The couple revealed the news on Instagram on Thursday, sharing a heart-warming video of their vowel renewal ceremony. In the clip, the pair kiss and embrace amidst a picturesque backdrop of a plush green field, with Hailey looking ethereal in a white lace creation and matching lace headscarf that doubled as a veil.
The post also included a few photos, where Justin can be seen lovingly wrapping his arms around Hailey’s growing baby bump, while the couple show off their matching silver wedding bands.
The joyous announcement sparked a considerable amount of emotional reactions from family, friends, and fans alike, with many internet sleuths having predicted the news a few months in advance.
With the couple seemingly keeping a lower profile in recent weeks, to Hailey donning a wardrobe of oversized jackets and sweaters, pregnancy rumours surrounding the couple have been circulating for a while, and speculation reached an all-time high when they were noticeably absent from the Met Gala this week.
Now, with confirmation that baby Bieber is indeed on the way, many reports have revealed details about the couple’s exciting upcoming addition. According to a representative for the soon-to-be mom, Hailey is a little over six months pregnant.
Talking to Entertainment Tonight, the source shared that Hailey and Justin are thrilled to become parents, and feel ready to take this next step in their lives and relationship.
Another source also revealed that the 27-year-old model and Let Me Love You hitmaker already have a name picked out for their baby, and have reportedly started to decorate a nursery.
Both Hailey and Justin have long expressed their desire to become parents. In an interview last year, the Rhode founder shared her reservations about raising a child in the spotlight. “I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child,” she said.
In a separate interview, Justin said he knew that Hailey was the one for him based on her maternal nature. “I had seen her at an event,” he said. “I saw her from across the room and she was holding a baby. I just saw the nurturing look in her eyes towards this baby. And I was like, ‘wow, I want the mother of my children to look at a baby the way that she was.'”
