Arabic talk show Marahel recently hosted Emirati-Yemeni pop sensation, Balqees Fathi – and, naturally, fans couldn’t stop watching as the award-winning singer-songwriter answered a series of personal questions, sharing truths about herself never before revealed to the public.

During the interview, she did not hold back in answering emotional questions about everything from her wedding day to her journey to stardom.

When asked about her legendary wedding (rumoured to have been an expensive affair) and, of course, the diamond-studded dress Balqees kept mum, but made it clear her special day – however lavish it was – was a notable moment within her life.
