Georgina Rodriguez in Dubai: Cristiano Ronaldo Lights Up Burj Khalifa In Celebration of His Fiance’s Birthday

Cristiano Ronaldo is not only one of the world’s greatest footballers, but apparently, also the king of romantic gestures.
In honour of his fiancé’s, Georgina Rodriguez’s, 28th birthday the Portuguese footballer lit up the world’s tallest building and iconic Dubai landmark, the Burj Khalifa, to mark the special occasion.
The custom laser show featured clips from Rodriguez’ new Netflix series, I am Georgina, which covers the star’s rags-to-riches story. The spectacular expression of love ended with giant, white lettering spelling out: “Happy Birthday, Gio” for the world to see.
Rodriquez took to Instagram to express her surprise, penning “This exciting day is over, I cannot articulate words, thank you, thank you, thank you Cristiano Ronaldo. You make me happier every day.”
Georgina also thanked Dubai for a wonderful celebration, posting photos of cake cutting and a cozy family dinner in front of the lit-up landmark.
“Thank you Dubai for always treating us so well and making us feel at home. Thanks to all of you who have worked to make this day so special. You are loved with all my heart,” she writes on Instagram.
