Haifa Wehbe Lights Up Egypt With A Series Of Brilliant Outfits
The Lebanese singer opted for 90’s inspired looks as she performed a few of her hit singles this past weekend at a concert on the North Coast
Glitz and glamour made a comeback on stage, as superstar Haifa Wehbe serenaded fans in some pretty blinged out costumes, making us feel nostalgic for a time when the Spice Girls reigned supreme and glitter as eyeshadow was socially acceptable.
In the first half of her performance the star wore a bright, printed corset with a striking striped pattern, paring it with guilded leather shorts; for the second, she came back on stage in sequined, wide cyan leg trousers and matching blue shirt.
Both looks had been created by Lebanese designer Mikhail Chamoun, who was clearly channeling some serious Bob Mackie vibes.
The glamorous Lebanese star brought back the nineties trends with gusto and, of course, we are completely here for it. The next day Haifa attended a wedding a sparkly pink gown, paring the look with delicate jewellery and styling her hair in crimped mermaid waves.
The singer has been spending plenty of time in Egypt recently, despite a security breach which occured this past June when a fan aburptly interrupted Haifa’s performance by storming the stage. Her guards were quick to escort the gentleman away from the performer, however, the singer preferred to deal with the situation herself in a simpler manner. She stopped her performance, went to the young man to ask for his name and calmly explained that the response was in accordance to the precautionary measures taken to limit the spread of COVID. She apologised kindly and said, “Fun night,” continuing the concert as if nothing had happened.
