Who Is Hyunjin From Straykids? Versace’s New Global Brand Ambassador

The K-pop star is making waves with his vibrant personality and striking visuals

Versace, the renowned Italian luxury fashion house, has selected K-pop sensation Hyunjin to grace the forefront of their upcoming 2023 Holiday campaign. Stray Kids fans, lovingly known as Stays, are beyond excited to see the star sporting exquisite looks for his first campaign since his appointment as a Versace Global Brand Ambassador.

Hyunjin is seen sporting a neutral beige cotton shirt with gabardine pants and Odissea sneakers. The singer also introduces the brand’s latest Athena tote bag collection, adorned with the iconic Baracco print in soft neutral tones.

Posing next to model Sacha Quenby, Hyunjin looks elegant in a dark gray Barocco jacquard cashmere coat, cashmere sweatpants and Barocco jacquard Odissea sneakers.

Recently, the singer became Harper’s Bazaar Korea’s cover star for the December 2023 issue, sending the internet into a frenzy with fans charmed by his dashing visuals. Donned head-to-toe in pieces from Versace’s 2023 Holiday collection, previous collections and exclusive unreleased pieces, Hyunjin explored the unsettling contrast between darkness and light, and the uncharted in-between.

Who Is Hyunjin From Straykids? Versace’s New Global Brand Ambassador

23-year-old Hyunjin, born Hwang Hyunjin, is a vocalist and the main dancer for one of K-pop’s (and the world’s) biggest boy bands Stray Kids. Hyunjin was employed as a trainee at JYP Entertainment for 2 years prior to the group’s debut in March, 2018.

Despite being a young 4th generation K-pop band, Stray Kids rose to fame pretty quickly, owning to their distinctive musical tone defined by their energetic vocals, conceptual dance moves and striking visuals.

The band performed in Dubai during Expo 2020, in front of several international and local VIPs, including former South Korean President Moon Jae-in.
