Inside Radhika Merchant’s Bachelorette Party

Earlier this week Radhika Merchant, the fiancée of Anant Ambani and soon to be daughter-in-law of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, had her bridal shower. The theme of the evening was inspired by the iconic film “The Princess Diaries” where attendees were seen wearing matching pyjamas and using a mattress to “surf” down the stairs. What’s more, the fairy-tale event was hosted by none other than Bollywood’s own Janhvi Kapoor.
A Royal Slumber Party
In anticipation of their wedding, set to take place on July 12 this year, Radhika chose close friends and family to gather for her intimate and playful “Princess Diaries Royal” themed party- a stark contrast to their star-studded pre-wedding party attended by the likes of Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and international figures such as Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, among others.
The attention to detail was apparent, as Janhvi Kapoor shared a glimpse of the event on her Instagram, revealing a night filled with glamour and joy. Also present attending the celebration were Anant Ambani and Janhvi’s boyfriend, Shikhar Pahariya.
Kapoor posted a few polaroid pictures of the event, writing “Princess Diaries Royal Slumber Party, for the most special bride,” with Radhika herself commenting on the post “Feeling blessed. Love you guys!”

Pretty in Pyjamas
Echoing the theme, the girls were dressed in pink pyjamas and each crowned with a dainty tiara. However, it was Radhika that stole the show in a luxurious white satin night-wear, complemented by a larger tiara and diamond-studded flats.
A Celebration of Friendship and Love
The slumber-party guests can also be seen enjoying a game of darts in the pictures shared by Janhvi Kapoor.
Kapoor was also present at the Pre-Wedding bash last month, where she famously danced with Rihanna to her song “Zingaat” from the movie, “Dhadak.”
Meanwhile, Janhvi has also been busy with her upcoming film “Mr & Mrs Mahi” which has been revealed to release on May 31.
