Jennifer Aniston’s Hairstylist On Creating Her Perfect Tousled Waves

It involves some key products

Jennifer Aniston’s hair story is a long and illustrious one, and a constant throughout every chapter is Chris McMillan, the man responsible for ‘The Rachel’ – and so much more.

The hairstylist’s latest handiwork was this down-do displaying the perfect tousled waves for Aniston’s visit to the The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Nonchalant and sexy, the style looked like an effortless air-dry, although McMillan revealed there was a lot more to it than a wash-and-go.

“The hair is Jen’s natural curl and waves,” he revealed on Instagram. “Dried natural and touched up minimally with blow-drying the roots for direction and touching up random pieces with a wave iron.” His trusty tools were the Dyson Supersonic and Ghd Curve.

They real key to the flawless finish was in the products used. And there were a lot. He first applied the forthcoming Drunk Elephant Detangling Spray (yes – the skincare brand are entering the hair area!), then the Harklinikken Leave-in Conditioner, the Shu Uemura Art of Hair Shape Paste and finally the Kérastase Huile Discipline Oléo-Relax oil. Phew.

So the next time you wonder why your natural texture doesn’t look quite like Aniston’s, don’t pass on the products. (Or you could book yourself a glam squad.)
