The award-winning artist donned a beautiful creation by the KSA designer

Receiving an award, singer Kelly Rowland and former Destiny Child’s band member, turned heads in  Saudi Arabian designer’s couture brand Ashi Studio

Renowned singer Kelly Rowland, a part of Destiny’s Child along with Michelle Williams and Beyoncé, was recently awarded at the 16th Annual Harlem’s Row Fashion Show and Style Awards.

The event was hosted in the Apollo Theatre in New York earlier this week, where Kelly was presented with the Fashion Icon Award. The award-winning star donned a spectacular ensemble by KSA brand Ashi Studio. The top half of the outfit is in a chic pearl white, with the second half in a contrasting black. The attire also consisted of oversised cuffs around her wrists attached to the dress, matching the black in the lower half. And to top it off, the Jimmy Choo heels and Messika earrings surely make the right kind of statement.

Kelly’s Jimmy Choo heels were also in black with a bejewelled strap around her ankle, which is further emphasised by her Messika statement earrings and Azature diamond rings that decorated her hands.

Ashi Studio was launched by Saudi Arabian designer, Mohammed Ashi. In 2018, the creative unveiled his atelier in Paris and made his debut at the prestigious Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Mohammed continues to make history when earlier in the year – in June, Ashi Studio was named as a guest member of the Fédération de la Haute Couture. This marked “a historic appointment, Ashi is the first couturier from the Gulf region to join couture’s most prestigious and elite federation” as stated via his brands Instagram. In a statement Ashi said “today, I am reminded of days escaping to the garden to dream, and, of that first day, when I hired one seamstress to bring to life the images in my head.”  The couture brand continues to take the fashion world by storm with many A-list celebrities adorning his designs.
