Star football player and Fifa World Cup champ Lionel Messi had his family’s supermarket in Argentina attacked by two men yesterday. The incident included shots fired at the store window along with a threatening message of “Messi, we’re waiting for you. Javkin is a narco, he won’t take care of you.”

According to Gulf News, the two men shot 14 bullets into the store’s front, which is located in Messi’s hometown, Rosario, 320 kilometers northwest of Buenos Aires.

The store belongs to Messi’s wife, Antonela Roccuzzo‘s family, and has been part of the family for several years. Fans and residents of the city are left confused as to why the attack and what the message truly means.
