Margot Robbie Attends UK Premiere Of Babylon In Valentino
The award-winning actress wore a backless ruby red dress, putting a modern twist on a look that channeled the spirit of Old Hollywood
The Australian actress, known for The Wolf Of Wall Street, Suicide Squad, and the upcoming Barbie film, attended the UK premiere of her newest film Babylon Thursday night wearing a stunning long Valentino gown with an open back, halterneck top, and dramatic train. She paired the look with the matching bold red lip and a low loose bun.
The three-hour-long dramatic comedy has been nominated for several Golden Globe awards, such as Best Picture, Margot Robbie with Best Actress, Diego Calva with Best Actor, Justin Hurwitz with Best Score, and Brad Pitt with Best Supporting Actor. The film took only the Golden Globe for Best Score home but, according to the critics, is an outstanding success nonetheless.
The film revolves around Hollywood in the 1920s and the possibilities and challenges arising with the emergence of sound film replacing silents. Babylon follows the careers of multiple characters, aspiring dancers, and actors and how they rise and fall in times of decadence and uncertainty.
