The Murex d’Or is one of the most prestigious awards in the Arab world’s entertainment industry. Established in 2000 in Lebanon, this annual event celebrates outstanding achievements in music, film, and television.
Each year, the event aims to honour exceptional talents and productions, recognising the contributions of artists, directors, musicians, and actors who have made significant impacts on the cultural landscape of the Middle East.
The 2023 awards ceremony took place recently and included an array of A-listers in attendance. Bazaar Arabia shares the best dressed celebrities on this year’s red carpet.

Myriam Fares
Myriam looked flawless in a stunning gown by Dubai-based designer Nicolas Jebran. The Lebanese singer paired her ensemble with Antoine Walid Salamoun jewellery as she performed at the prestigious awards ceremony.
Sevval Sam
Sevval was the picture of elegance in a Tarik Ediz gown and Tiffany & Co. jewellery at the Murex D’or 2023 event. Styled by Burcu Çam, the co-founder of 816 Styling & Consulting, the Turkish sensation nailed her look.
Hilda Khalife
TV Personality, Hilda Khalifa wore a stunning gown by Nicolas Jebran. Styled by our columnist Cedric Haddad, her ensemble included Giuseppe Zanotti heels and jewellery from AlKhoury Diamonds.
Nawal El Zoghbi
Lebanese pop artist, Nawal El Zoghbi donned an eloquent black gown by Labourjoisie and paired her ensemble with Nsouli Jewellery. Her make-up was done by Rikardos Garib and her hair was put up in a flawless ponytail by Victor Keyrouz.
Sacha Dahdouh
Sacha Dahdouh turned heads in a vibrant red gown by Fouad Sarkis with hair elegantly styled by Edgard Akar and make-up done by Ahmad Ahmad.
Rahma Riadh
Rahma donned a statement yellow gown by Zuhair Murad as she attended the Murex D’or 2023 ceremony. Styled by Georges Chamoun, Rahma opted for Bulgari jewellery from their iconic Serpenti Collection.
Karess Bashar
Syrian actor, Karess donned a colourful gown by Elias Riga’s La BOWème collection. Styled by Mira Jnaid, Karess paired her attire with timeless creations from Himo jewellery.
Ward El Khal
Ward sparkled in a gown crafted by Lebanese designer Antoine Kareh Couture. Paired with Yeprem jewellery, her make-up beautifully done by artist Rola Sleiman, was on-point.
Maguy Bou Ghosn
The actor attended Murex D’or 2023 in a gorgeous couture black Rami Kadi gown. The gown also has organza around it. Maguy was styled by Ibrahim Fakhereldine with her makeup done to perfection by Bana Zalabia and her hair was styled by Michel Layoun salon with Ace Fine Jewellery adding that extra sparkle.

Actor, Stéphanie Atala wore an elegant Laith Maalouf gown, adorning Ace Fine Jewellery and styled by Ibrahim Fakhereldine. Her beautiful glam look was done by hair and makeup artist, Moe Rida.
