Myriam Fares Is Set To Star In Her Own Netflix Documentary
The streaming platform will soon premiere a new documentary chronicling the Lebanese singer’s family life in lockdown — making her the first Arab artist to star in a Netflix documentary
Myriam Fares has just taken to Instagram, in a cryptic post, revealing news about her new documentary scheduled to premiere on June 3; the new 71-minute-long documentary titled “Myriam Fares: The Journey,” directed by the artist herself, will deliver an intimate and heartfelt overview of the singer’s personal life.
Myriam’s undeniably successful career in the music industry has been the talk of the Arab world for years, with her songs like “Ghmorni” becoming huge hits; in 2014, she also made her acting debut in the television series Itiham. To add to the list, she is now the first Arab artist to star in a Netflix documentary.
According to the streaming platform, the documentary will encompass her experiences “from pregnancy to album preparations” during the lockdown and how she was able to cope with the pressure.
The trailer shows Fares pregnant with her second child, her son Dave, whom she gave birth to in October 2020; she is also seen talking about how she was able to maintain a happy and healthy marriage for six years.
