Paris Hilton Surrogacy: Why She Kept The Pregnancy A Secret
Paris Hilton Surrogacy: She speaks candidly with Bazaar Arabia about why she kept a very happy moment in her life private for so long
Paris Hilton surrogacy: She shares with Bazaar Arabia why she chose to keep it a secret.
In Harper’s Bazaar Arabia‘s March 2023 issue, we find out that Stars are Blind has a new, somewhat unexpected, fan, too – not just the legion of Gen Z acolytes fuelling Y2K trends by the bucket-load on TikTok.
Paris tells us the song is a big bedtime hit (the a cappella version, obviously) with her newborn, Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum. “My angel,” she says, audibly emotional. “I’ve just never felt this way about another human. I stare at him all day long.”

Paris Hilton Surrogacy: The Truth Behind The Secret Pregnancy
Phoenix arrived via surrogate to Paris and Carter in January; a secret they kept successfully from everyone, and surrogacy being the chosen path, partly due to Paris’ fear of doctors’ offices etc. post-boarding school. We do also wonder if it was a way to hide her impending motherhood from the world at a time when she wanted to be, somewhat refreshingly, more private. In her book she writes that she doesn’t believe in overexposure – but now, as a new mum, her perspective has shifted.

“I don’t want to be as public as I was. That’s one reason why with Phoenix, we didn’t tell anyone. The only people who knew were Carter and myself. We didn’t tell any friends or family because I feel that my life has been so public so I wanted just one thing for myself,” she tells Bazaar Arabia‘s Editor in Chief, Olivia Phillips.

It’s a little bit heart-wrenching. Not that she would ever ask you to feel sorry for her. Far from it. This second, third, perhaps even fourth incarnation of Paris Hilton is one of an absolute warrior. A badass in rhinestones, whose tale of survival is just one tiny facet of a life lived ten times over.
