Rihanna New Music Alert! She’s Back…
The award-winning singer-songwriter’s first song in over five years will drop this Friday
After a little hiatus, RiRi is back in the game and will soon be dropping new music.
Yesterday evening the Grammy award-winning singer-songwriter teased the tune of her new track on her Twitter. The hauntingly beautiful track, titled “Lift Me Up,” is the new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever original song which is set to premiere in theatres in the UAE on November 10.

“Life me up. 28.10.2022,” Rihanna wrote within the caption. The song will make its debut ahead of the film and is scheduled to be released this Friday.
According to Variety.com, the song – written by Tems, Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna and the film’s director Ryan Coogler – is a tribute to Chadwick Boseman, the late actor who starred in the role of Black Panther. He died from colon cancer in 2020; his illness wasn’t publicly known until after his passing and came as a shock to both his fans and colleagues.
Rihanna was spotted walking the red carpet yesterday evening with partner A$AP Rocky, with whom she has a son.

It was their first public appearance together post the arrival of their little one; Rihanna wore an avant-garde sequined Rick Owens gown with opera gloves. A$AP Rocky perfectly complemented the “Umbrella” singer’s look, opting for 90’s inspired baggy trousers and matching taupe jacket.
Will “Life Me Up” Be Streaming on Spotify?
At the moment, it’s unclear how fans will be able to stream or listen to the song which premieres on Friday. Check back soon for more details.
