Emirati Influencer Salama Mohamed Confirms Divorce With Khalid Al Ameri

The Instagram star shared details about her marriage during a recent interview

Emirati social media personality, Salama Mohamed has confirmed the status of her relationship with Khalid Al Ameri.

The mother-of-two sat down with Emirati presenter Nour Aldin for an interview during which she said that the couple are “divorced.”

Nour asked the founder of the skincare line Peacefull, “You are now separated, or can I say divorced?” To which Salama replied, “Divorced”.

The interview comes after her former husband and social media star, Khalid seemingly announced his engagement by posting a black and white photograph of himself holding his bride-to-be’s hand.

Expressing gratitude for the moment, Khalid captioned the picture, “Alhumdulilah,” which translates to “thank God” in Arabic.

During the interview, Salama also opened up about her life after the two decided to go their separate ways.

“For the first time, Salama’s life wasn’t dependent on anyone,” she said, adding, “Before marriage, I was dependent on my family. After marriage, I was dependent on my husband. But now as an independent person, it’s the first time that I know Salama.”

Currently, the influencer is focused on raising her two children, Abdullah and Khalifa, and also taking some time off as she was recently seen vacationing in Belgium. On the work front, she has been concentrating on her skincare line and posting lifestyle content on her social media pages.
