The second season of AlRawabi School For Girls – Netflix’s groundbreaking Jordanian TV series – produced by Filmizion Productions, from Showrunner and Creator Tima Shomali, in collaboration with Co-Creators Shirin Kamal and Islam Alshomali – is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix this February 15, that is, the day after Valentine’s Day.
We’ve been offered a sneak peek into what the second season of the highly anticipated series has to offer via an official teaser released by Netflix on January 15. In it, we are introduced to a brand-new cast – which has been fully revamped since season 1 of the show – newly composed of Sarah (played by Tara Abboud), Nadeen (played by Tara Atalla), Tasneem (played by Sarah Yousef), Hiba (played by Kira Yaghnam), Shams (played by Thalia Alansari), and Farah (played by Raneem Haitham).
It is evident from the short teaser that Tasneem’s character, portrayed by the stunning Sarah Yousef, draws inspiration from Layan’s character in season 1. In other words, Tasneem is the gorgeous mean girl of the cast – but there’s also so much more to this beauty than what meets the eye. Although she plays the role of Tasneem, a teenager at AlRawabi high school, the talented actor is actually 25 years of age.

Having portrayed the likes of Frida Kahlo in live on-stage plays, the talented thespian is proof that theatre is very much a living art.
