After fans speculating for months about a possible secret wedding, the Disney star confirmed her engagement earlier today…

The award-winning American singer took to Instagram on Thursday morning, showing off her ring after the record producer and songwriter proposed during a picnic. “Forever begins now,” she wrote in the caption.

The couple reportedly got together in June 2023. They started off by keeping their relationship out of the public eye, however, after Selena took to Instagram saying “He is my absolute everything in my heart,” about her now fiancé, fans caught on.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter the actress explained why she enjoyed sharing bits of her love life online, “I guess this is the safest I’ve ever felt in one, and I see a future with this person.” The two are now engaged barely a month after this statement!
