According to a report by PageSix, renowned actors Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have decided to part ways after seven years of marriage.
The couple released a joint statement confirming their decision, stating, “We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people who deeply love and care for one another, we kindly request respect for our privacy during this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”
Joe and Sofia’s paths crossed in 2014 through the actor’s former co-star, Tyler Fergurson, when Sofia was previously engaged to Nick Loeb. In 2015, the couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach, attended by a multitude of notable figures, including actors like Channing Tatum and Reese Witherspoon, as well as Sofia’s co-stars from Modern Family. Additionally, Sofia’s 31-year-old son, Manolo, from her previous marriage to Joe Gonzalez, was present at the wedding.
Throughout their seven-year marriage, the couple appeared to have a strong bond, frequently captured in pictures together. However, recent concerns arose among fans as Sofia was seen traveling in Italy without Joe, and they had not been photographed together at events.
