The new school year at AlRawabi High School will officially commence in less than two weeks.
Netflix MENA released the official teaser for AlRawabi School for Girls, Season 2 — arguably the Arab world’s most highly anticipated Netflix TV series of the year, created by Tima Shomali in collaboration with Shirin Kamal and Islam Alshomali – before confirming that the show would premiere exclusively on Netflix on February 15, that is, the day after Valentine’s Day.
The teaser introduces us to the actors in succession: Sarah (Tara Abboud), Nadeen (Tara Atalla), Tasneem (Sarah Youseff), Hiba (Kira Yaghnam), Shams (Thalia Alansari) and Farah (Raneem Haitham).
Whilst all the cast members of AlRawabi School For Girls Season One were stars in their own right, the main character around whom the plot revolved was undoubtedly Mariam, the high school girl who suffered relentless bullying at the hands of her classmates. Season 2’s official teaser seems to indicate that the character of Nadeen, portrayed by Tara Atalla, goes through similar experiences.
