Sarah Hyland And Wells Adams Tie The Knot
The Modern Family star wed her longtime beau in not one, but two creations by Vera Wang
Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams are officially married!
The couple wed at Sunstone Winery in California on Saturday, surrounded by family, friends and several of Hyland’s Modern Family co-stars — including Sofia Vergara, Nolan Gould, Ariel Winter and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who officiated the dreamy ceremony.
Sarah and Wells have been together since 2017 and The Bachelorette alum popped the big question in 2019. The pair originally planned to exchange vows in 2020, but due to the pandemic and subsequent lock-downs, the wedding was rescheduled not once but twice.
What The Bride Wore…
The beaming beauty looked like a vision in white, donning two different dresses by Vera Wang, one for the ceremony and one for the reception.
The off-the-shoulder silk gown she wore at the altar featured a sweetheart neckline, a full skirt with a thigh-high slit and a long, dramatic train. She finished her bridal look with a cathedral-length tulle veil and white pumps with crystal trimmings. Sarah opted to wear her dark hair pinned back with soft face-framing pieces and accessorised with minimal diamond jewellery – diamond drop earrings and a bracelet.
For the reception, she slipped into another white gown, also off-the-shoulder but with sheer, draped full-sleeves, a figure-hugging fit and a relatively muted train. The look, perfect for a more relaxed event like an afterparty, had a draped neckline and macramé lace.
