BIGHIT MUSIC, the label behind world-famous South Korean boyband BTS, took to Weverse to announce J-Hope’s latest single on the street.
Just hours after announcing the rapper’s military enlistment, the label updated fans on his exciting new solo project which is said to be a candid expression of love to his fans. Inspired by the Louis Vuitton ambassador‘s beginnings as an underground street dancer, on the street will narrate his journey into stardom that his fans continue to be a huge part of.
For those unaware of the rapper’s stellar career, this is not his first solo venture. In 2018, the musician released his debut mixtape titled Hope World which created history as the highest charting Korean solo project on the Billboard 200 at number 38. More recently, J-Hope’s debut studio album Jack in the Box won hearts and acclaim alike with its alt rock and old-school hip hop style music.
So…When is BTS’ J-Hope releasing his new single?
Just days after revealing BTS vocalist Jimin‘s upcoming solo album FACE, BIGHIT invited fans of J-Hope to stream on the street at 2:00PM KST (9:00AM Dubai time) on Friday, March 3.
“We hope that j-hope’s “on the street” serves as a meaningful gift to everyone who supports the artist. Please look forward to j-hope’s new song!” said the label.
