Feel good news is coming in hot this morning, as Chrissy Teigen revealed she’s expecting.
The Sports Illustrated model and wife to John Legend took to Instagram yesterday evening to share a candid mirror selfie of her baby bump, captioning a heartfelt message about her journey and the struggles of announcing the news.
“The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way,” she wrote within the caption. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce” but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”
Earlier this year, the model revealed that she was pursuing in vitro fertilisation to conceive another baby.
After the tragic loss of her son Jack in September 2020, who was stillborn, the couple’s rainbow baby has brought back happiness and joy into their lives as she quotes “I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.”
Chrissy and John already have two children together: a daughter named Luna, 6, and a four-year-old son called Miles.

While Chrissy nor John haven’t made any official statements about the baby’s due date, considering most women announce their pregnancies at the end of the first trimester can probably expect the baby to arrive in the new year, between January and February of 2023 – however, there is no way to know for certain without the family or doctor’s confirmation.
