The Olympic gymnast shared the good news yesterday with her fans on Instagram, revealing that it was the “easiest yes” she’s ever said.
In a sweet carousel post – which featured a stunning close-up shot of her engagement ring by Zo Frost – the 24-year-old athlete, dressed in a form-fitting black ruched mini dress, posted a series of photos of herself and her new fiancé standing in the gazebo where he must have popped the question.
“THE EASIEST YES,” Simone wrote within the caption. “I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more! let’s get married FIANCÉ.”

Who is Jonathan Owens, Simone Biles’ Fiancé?
He Began His American Football Career In Missouri
The NFL player, who currently plays for the Houston Texans, began his career by playing high school football in Missouri before attending Missouri Western State University. Throughout college, he played defensive line back and majored in pre-physical therapy. According to a page on the university’s website, his “dream job” was to become a doctor.
In the past, he has signed with the Arizona Cardinals and joined the Houston Texans’ practice squad in 2019, before being promoted to the active roster in 2021.
Jonathan Owens and Simone Biles Have Been Together For Almost Two Years
According to a source, the pair met online in March 2020 via dating app Raya, right at the beginning of the pandemic, and announced that they were officially in a relationship in August 2020.
