Born to Brazilian Formula One World Champion driver Nelson Piquet and former Dutch model Sylvia Tamsma, Kelly is practically F1 royalty, having grown up around the sport. She has two siblings from her parent’s marriage – older brother Nelson Angelo Piquet, a former Formula E and Formula One driver, and younger sister Julia – and multiple half-siblings from her father’s other marriages and relationships.
She Had A Very International Childhood
The 36-year-old model and columnist – who is a German national – grew up in Europe and Brazil, before attending boarding school in the United Kingdom. According to Marie Claire Brazil, she studied International Relations at Marymount Manhattan College, a private college located in New York City’s prestigious Upper East Side neighborhood.

Kelly will celebrate her 37th birthday on December 7. Over the years, she has been surrounded by family, where Max has even flown back to be by her side in honour of her special day.
