Best known for his debut role in the popular series El Ekhteyar 2 (2021), Nour El Nabawy has quickly become a household name around the region. Born in Egypt, the young creative’s entry to television shook the industry and fans alike. Over the course of his career, the actor has appeared in five very popular, top-rated series, and it is clear that the star is just getting started!

Who is Nour El Nabawy?
His father is famed actor Khaled El Nabawy
It’s no wonder the 26-year-old star chose acting as a career when he’s the son of renowned Egyptian actor Khaled El Nabawy. Known for a variety of roles in film, theatre and television, the duo recently worked together on the popular Ramadan series ‘Raj’een Ya Hawa’ (2022).
He studied acting and theater in the US
The actor chose to study abroad at Santa Monica College and California State University to accumulate more knowledge of the craft and art. During his studies, he regularly took part in university plays and projects.
He is the winner of the Best Rising Actor Award 2022
It was clear everyone knew the actor would one day become internationally recognised as he was awarded’ Best Rising Actor’ during the first edition of the Cairo Drama Festival. El Nabawy also received the Dear Guest Public Voting Award for ‘Best TV Rising Actor’ that same year.
He is a UNICEF Ambassador
Nour values social work as, aside from being an actor, he has been appointed by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) as the ambassador of the Shabab Balad (translating to The Country’s Youths) Initiative.
His first film is hitting cinemas soon
While previously the actor had only appeared in television series, El Nabawy is making his debut on the silver screen in the much-anticipated film ‘El Hareefa’. Set to release in the UAE on the 11th of January, the actor will star alongside the well-known football player Ahmed Hossam Mido in a film that follows football lover Maged as he faces some hardships and tries to make money from his favourite sport.
