Born Wolf Jacques Webster to American media personality Kylie Jenner and her on-and-off partner, Travis Scott, the baby’s name was changed just a month after his birth. Kylie suggested this in a YouTube video she published that chronicled the birth of the little one, later confirming the same in an Instagram story.

The young mother only revealed the baby’s new name in January of this year, accompanied by an adorable carousel of images she posted on Instagram. The toddler just turned one last month and it seems like the parents are ready to officially move on from his old name.

So… Why did Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott change their baby’s name?

In the Instagram story shared by Kylie last year, the reality TV star claimed that the reason for the name change was that it didn’t feel like a fit for the child.

According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, the couple express that they “regret the initial name choice of Wolf Jacques Webster,” and that “Aire Webster is a better fit”. It also seems like Kylie has chosen to drop the baby’s middle name Jacques which is the birth name of his father Travis Scott.
