Set on a scenic island where compatible couples who stay together till the end of the season take home a whopping $100,000, the widely-loved USA edition of Love Island has an update for its fans. Audience favourites Zeta Morrison and Timmy Pandolfi have officially ended things.
Season four Islanders were a mixed bag of individuals with quirky traits that set them apart. Despite this, one couple stood strong as the Peacock reality came to an end.
29-year-old Zeta Morrison and Timmy Pandolfi coupled up during the season and outdid other duos, including runner-ups Sydney Paight and Isaiah Campbell, in all their challenges.
Heartbreakingly, the twosome called it quits as the “romance ran thin” after the show ended, according to the personal trainer’s Instagram.
So…Why Did Love Island USA’s Zeta Morrison and Timmy Pandolfi Break Up?
The actress and model spoke candidly about her breakup on Murad Murali’s podcast episode dated January 21. “There’s no more Zimmy,” she said, as she explained the lack of communication in their relationship after the couple left the villa.
Zeta also spoke about meeting Timmy’s sister which she described as something she did not enjoy.”I felt like it would get better,” Zeta said, talking about how the ups and downs in their relationship created a disconnect with her Love Island partner.
According to the TMZ interview, Timmy and Zeta hadn’t been speaking for a while until they officially announced their break up this week.
Looks like the Love Island curse continues as none of the couples who have won the show in the past are together anymore.
Past winners and separated couples include season one’s Elizabeth Weber and Zac Mirabelli, season two’s Cely Vasquez and Johnny Middlebrooks, and season three’s Olivia Kaiser and Korey Gandy.
