Last week 29-year-old music executive; Elliot Grainge and 24-year-old; Sofia Richie tied the knot during a beautiful ceremony amongst A-List attendees such as Paris Hilton and Cameron Diaz at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.
The fairytale ceremony went viral online with netizens dubbing Sofia the ‘People’s Princess’, a title which is most commonly used to describe the late Diana, Princess of Wales. However, despite the star-studded guest list, the model’s brother was not one of them.
Photos and videos of the wedding have been making their way around all forms of social media (even behind-the-scene videos of Sofia dancing on a stage at their nightclub-themed after-party) and eagle-eyed fans have noticed Miles Richie is absent in every single clip.
Why Did Sofia Richie’s Brother Miles Richie Not Attend Her Wedding?
According to Hollywood Life, the 28-year-old singer tested positive for COVID-19. A source obtained by the publication said that Miles had begun to feel unwell before the big day, ultimately leading to him taking a test and not being able to attend his sister’s special day.
The source added that Sofia would have loved to have Miles attend her big day but she understands why Miles had to skip it. It’s not known how long the singer will have to quarantine from others.
