Women Supporting Women: Riham Abdel Ghafour and Mona Zaki Celebrate Their Friendship In The Most Endearing Way

Many actresses have to take the good with the bad when they join the entertainment industry. While they may enter the glitzy world of film and television with the best intentions, it’s easy to get caught up in the drama – and with the rise of social media, there seems to be an endless supply.
While we often hear stories about jealousy, catty behavior and actresses tearing each other apart, it’s refreshing to witness two women supporting one another, celebrating their friendship within their Instagram feeds.
Yesterday evening Egyptian actresses Riham Abdel Ghafour posted an image on Instagram praising the strength of the friendship she has with fellow actress Mona Zaki.
“My love… The sweetest, most clever and purest soul. The more we grow, the more I value her on all levels,” wrote Riham, describing the bond the two actresses have together. A large number of her followers on social media expressed their happiness within the comments.
Riham and Mona both starred in two of the most popular Ramadan series of the year: Qasr El Nile and Lebat Newton. While the two appear to have been close friends for some time now, the women easily could have become rivals.
