Yasmin Abdel Aziz Shares Her Pride and Happiness at Her Daughter’s Graduation Ceremony

From weddings to growing families, celebrities both within the region and abroad have been celebrating all kinds of life milestones recently – and Yasmin Abdel Aziz is no exception.
The 41-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a special moment with her followers: her daughter, Yasmin Halawa, was graduating from high school and like any proud mother she couldn’t resist sharing the good news.
“My daughter, sister and my friend graduated, may God protect her…” wrote Yasmin in the caption of a video clip, which saw a group of students standing in rows outside, wearing white and red gowns, with the pyramids in the background.
Yasmin Halawa – allegedly named after her mother Yasmin Abdel Aziz — is the artist’s first and only daughter, who graduated from Cairo American College in a ceremony that took place last weekend by the Giza Pyramid Complex in Cairo, Egypt.
Many artists took to the comments to congratulate Yasmin on this special occasion, including Mona Zaki, Mohamed Ragab and Ghada Abdel Razek. Ahmed Al Awadi also congratulated his step-daughter calling her “The Moon of the World” and expressing his love and appreciation towards her accomplishments.
Yasmin Abdel Aziz recently starred in the Ramadan drama series Elli Maloush Kbeer, alongside her husband Ahmed Al Awadi. The show was named the best Egyptian romantic suspense drama series of the year.
