Yasmine Sabri To Star In Ramadan 2022 Drama Series
The Egyptian actress will be playing the role of “Layal”, in a new series scheduled to premiere during the Holy Month
After a glamorous summer abroad in Europe, partnering with Cartier as their newest ambassador and making a jaw-dropping appearance at the Venice Film Festival, 33-year-old actress Yasmine Sabri is set to return to the small screen in — what could be — next year’s hottest Ramadan series.
According to a source the show, temporarily named “Helm Layal”, will be the Egyptian star’s second time working with Egyptian TV and theatre actor Mohamed Abdel Moaty.

While there isn’t much information available, it has been confirmed that Yasmine will be playing the role of the main character: Layal. She will be holding intensive working sessions with Mohamed until filming begins around mid-October. The sessions are intended to be focused on finding the right director for the show and casting other actors in the script, as well as finalising the characteristics and features of the Egyptian star’s character.
Yasmine was last seen on screen in the 2020 TV series “Forsa Tanya”, and after skipping 2021’s Ramadan drama season, fans are super excited to know Yasmine will be making her way back into the scene.
