The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival returned this weekend for its annual showcase at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. As one of the most popular music festivals in the world, Coachella is known for its exceptional star power, attracting attendees from around the globe and hosting diverse artists across a range of musical genres.

This year, with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Tyler The Creator, and Doja Cat headlining the festival, the excitement was palpable as international and regional celebrities made memorable appearances both on stage and at the numerous parties and events held in the desert throughout the weekend.

Shakira’s Surprise Performance And Announcement

Following the release of her latest album, Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, Shakira kicked off the Coachella festivities with a surprise performance on Friday night. The Columbian-Lebanese sensation joined Argentine producer, DJ Bizarrap during his electrifying set, performing their hit songs, La Fuerte and BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 53. The Te felecito hitmaker wowed the crowd in an eye-catching red and orange crotchet dress, matching leggings and large aviator sunglasses.

During her performance, Shakira announced she will be embarking on a world tour later this year. This will be the singer’s first tour since 2017, with information on tour dates and stops still pending.

Saint Levant’s Moving Tribute to Palestine

On Saturday, Palestinian-Algerian-French-Serbian rapper, Saint Levant brought Palestinian solidarity to the festival’s Gobi Tent, when he performed a medley of his hits including “From Gaza With Love” and “Very Few Friends”. He also entranced the crowd with his newly-released singles “Deira” and “5am in Paris”. While on stage, the singer addressed the ongoing conflict in the region, with an enthused crowd sporting keffiyehs and waving Palestinian flags throughout his performance.

Nour Ardakani and Sabrina Bahsoon Sport Festival Fashion

Lebanese singer and dancer Nour Ardakani was spotted at Coachella alongside internet sensation Sabrina Bahsoon, also known as Tube Girl.

Nour looked effortlessly cool wearing a hooded white tank top, white maxi skirt and statement belt, while Sabrina, who is of Malaysian and Lebanese descent, sported an elaborate pearl-beaded top, with matching earrings and playful makeup.

Nour posted a picture of the pair in an Instagram Story, captioning the image, “Lebanese sis.” The pair continued to showcase festival fashion throughout the weekend, leaning into the cowboy core trend with cowboy boots, cowboy hats, and belts.

Both Nour and Sabrina made an appearance at Coachella’s Revolve Festival which was attended by a host of other influencers including Leonie Hanne and Camila Coelho who sported a host of fashion-forward looks.
