Traffic Digital has created an emotional installation at Palma de Mallorca airport

With millions of school children suffering daily in conflict zones all over the world, Dubai-based digital agency Traffic Digital have decided it’s time to highlight these atrocities with a 3D sculptured installation which takes pride of place at Palma de Mallorca airport.

‘The Class of No Tomorrow’ sculpture in Palma de Mallorca airport

Built using materials from schools that were destroyed or damaged from targeted and indiscriminate attacks in Iraq, Nigeria, South Sudan and Ukraine, ‘The Class of No Tomorrow’ wooden sculptures, created with UNICEF, represent the school children in each of the countries who are at risk of injury or death as they strive to get an education. Standing proudly against the backdrop of a digital chalkboard which features images and texts telling the children’s stories, it conveys messages of hope and determination to all who pass through.

The project is helping to raise the plight of school children in war zones

“By developing this project in collaboration with UNICEF we are able to highlight the atrocities schoolchildren living in conflict face. That’s why this project is so important to Traffic,” explains Sophia Kenvold, the Regional Head of Marketing at Traffic Digital. “These attacks are putting our future generations at risk and it is everyone’s job to do everything they can to protect them. I hope with this campaign we can positively influence not only the delegates, but the general public, on the impact these attacks have on children and their education as a whole.”
