For Some Reason Bella Hadid Has To Defend Her Charity Work Against Internet Trolls
“I actually rarely post about the things I do for charity or my community. I don’t think I actually ever have”
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Bazaar cover star Bella Hadid recently joined her friends in NYC to make 500 meals scheduled to be delivered to the Bowery Mission shelter on behalf of System of Service, Hashtag Lunch Bag, and Nike. She posted a photo on Instagram with her pals and founders of the organization, celebrity trainer Joe Holder and Friend Of A Friend founder Liv Perez, sharing her excitement for the cause and all of the important work that was done.
But the post didn’t receive the most positive response, one Instagram user commenting, “okay but do any of you celebs ever do anything nice without posting about it. If you’re doing it for the cred just throw your phone away and step into reality.”

Shortly after the model responded, “I actually rarely post about the things I do for charity or my community. I don’t think I actually ever have! I keep that in my heart! This is directly in support with friends of mine that are trying to make noise with doing good for our city. Hoping we can influence others to do the same for theirs & the people around them. Have a great week!”
Meeting the negative with the positive, we love it!
