Cosentino Reveals Dekton Furniture Line In Collaboration With Five Celebrated Designers
Five regional design houses have joined hands to create a collection of furniture and home accessories using Cosentino’s signature 4mm Dekton Slim material
Global architectural surface brand, Cosentino, has collaborated with celebrated designers Nada Debs, Mustafa Khamash, Fadi Sarieddine, Aljoud Lootah and duo Dana Al Matrook and Newsha Dastaviz of The Line Concept, for the launch of a much-awaited capsule collection.
Under the apt theme of ‘Breaking Boundaries’, the new collection revolves around a 4mm ultracompact material format, paying homage to Dekton Slim – a functional and decorative feature. The collaboration is a result of Cosentino’s continued commitment to innovation, sustainability, and pushing the boundaries of surface design.
Through the collection, the renowned designers have crafted five exclusive works of art – showcasing their unique design talents.
The assorted collection features a rocking chair, a console, a coffee table, a range of low side tables and a series of vases, which have been crafted within a period of four months.
Here, we share a glimpse of the eclectic, brand-new capsule collection.
CARAPACE CONSOLE by Nada Debs
In keeping with Lebanese designer Nada Debs’ philosophy of combining unexpected materials, this console creates a synergy of opposing elements through a playful geometric composition of both natural and industrial elements, that fit seamlessly together through the craft of marquetry using the house’s signature Carapace pattern.

ROCCO by Mustafa Khamash
Rocco is a playful creation executed in the raw quality of Dekton Slim, with no redundant additions, finishes, or embellishments. The aesthetic takes note from popular rocking chair designs – abstracting the first element from nature to be a seating arrangement while infusing an organic stone.
It represents Mustafa’s point of view on how we treat materials – whether it be dressing ourselves, styling our home environment, or whilst on a quest for art’s abstraction.

TALYD by Aljoud Lootah
Inspired by traditional metal pots used for cooking over open fires, Talyd is a beautiful collection of vases. The pieces are a nod to the UAE’s rich culinary culture, as well as everyday tools and objects associated with Emirati livelihoods from a bygone era.
Talyd, which means “legacy” in Arabic, is a contemporary interpretation of historical discoveries; While the shapes and proportions of the vases are influenced by the original artefacts, they are repurposed as functional objects of curiosity, using a minimalist design approach.

PAPER COFFEE TABLE by Fadi Sarieddine
While celebrating the thinness of Dekton Slim, this Paper Coffee table highlights the elegance of contrast, as well as the geometry generated by the structural factors of tension and compression.
The material appears to float as a tabletop with its fine 4mm edge exposed, an engineering feat achieved through a system of bulky solid walnut legs held in place with rods – the legs deliberate bulkiness, showcasing the slab’s slimness even more.

TEKTONIA TABLES by The Line Concept
Paying tribute to the true origins of our planet, The Line Concept has crafted the Tektonia Tables while challenging the perception of the stone as a hard, cold and sharp material with soft and organic lines. The design incorporates organic flowing shapes that represent nature and the patterns of the earth.
Parts of the tables are sliced off to reveal layers resembling the earth’s strata and the movement of the tectonic plates, while the exposed stone edges highlight Dekton Slim’s particular thinness.
