Forbes Middle East Presents The 30 Most Promising Arabs Under the Age of 30
New faces make their debut on the list, as the business magazine rounds up the most successful Gen-Z and Millennials from the region…
If there is one unit to accurately measure success, it definitely is Forbes’ 30 under 30.
The magazine just released its own Middle East and North Africa version of the much-coveted list highlighting some of the region’s most talented and hardworking young individuals as of the 31st of December 2020; and to be honest, it does take a lot for someone to convey the right spirit and all required elements to be featured in the table and, for the few that have managed, it is safe to say that they are not underserving by any means at all.
Meticulously selected out of a pool of over 300 applicants through two rounds of detailed assessment, the magazine’s board thoroughly scrutinised the “impact that candidates have had on their industry, market, or society” as well as their future potential. Broken into six distinct categories that stretch from sport, e-commerce to technology and finance as well as creative, the class of 2021 accommodates a wide range of bright and gifted human beings that cross over 11 countries, 20 nationalities through 38 soon-to-become anchors of the region.
Some countries really proved that they are nothing short of talent.
Egypt for instance holds the highest number of ambassadors with eight recipients followed closely by Jordan and Lebanon with four representatives each. Amongst the main names figured in the list are several golden-medal receivers prized throughout the summer for their distinguished performances and achievements in the Tokyo Olympics. Moroccan steeplechase runner Soufiane El Bakkali, Egyptian karateka Feryal Abdelaziz and Qatari track-field athlete Mutaz Brahim, to mention just them, were all included in the rewarding line-up.
Omani-Iraqi duo Chndy and Chebmoha were also drafted as part of the promising figures the Middle East and North Africa should keep an eye out on accompanied by no other than Jordanian rising singer Issam Alnajjar and Lebanese Tiktoker Farah Chreim.
Scanning through the Arab World with a fine brush to discover the architects of the 2020s in the region, we can only hope for this handful of selected pioneers and game-changers to live up to the expectation of their dreams and ambitions. Combining snazzy looks, smart brains and compassionate hearts, this crew really has it all.
