Meghan Markle To Be Made Into A Madame Tussauds Waxwork
It was only a matter of time
Meghan Markle is getting her very own Madame Tussauds waxwork to be unveiled in May, presumably in time for the royal wedding.
The news was announced by royalist and self-proclaimed ‘unofficial’ Town Crier, Anthony Appleton, outside Buckingham Palace this morning. Details of Markle‘s outfit and chosen stance will remain a secret until the big reveal, but the London attraction asserts that whatever look the figurine ends up with will “reflect an iconic moment in Meghan’s royal journey so far”.
“Excitement for the royal couple’s wedding reaches across the globe so it will come as no surprise that we’ve been secretly working away on a Meghan Markle figure since news of the royal engagement broke,” said Madame Tussauds London’s general manager Edward Fuller.
“It’s clear that the public has already taken Meghan to their hearts. One half of arguably the most famous couple in the world right now she’s already made her own mark as a humanitarian and role model,” Fuller continued. “We’re excited to give guests the chance to ‘meet’ her in attraction later this year.”
Another Meghan Markle waxwork will be installed in New York’s Madame Tussauds, marking the first time a US citizen will join the British royal family in 80 years.
