The historical eight-hour event united the world in its fight against COVID-19, as more than 100 celebrities made an appearance in support of frontline healthcare workers and the WHO

It was a truly unforgettable night (or early morning here in the UAE) for both artists and viewers alike.

The ‘One World: Together At Home’ event kicked off at 4:00 (GST), streaming performances and acts for eight hours. Musicians from all over the world were united and performed from their homes, in order to pay tribute to frontline workers battling the global COVID-19 crisis and the World Health Organization.

Celebrities joined in solidarity, representing their countries as well as constantly reminding viewers of the importance of staying at home during this crucial time, as their acts were both televised and streamed online across the globe.

The star-studded event – curated by Lady Gaga and organized by Global Citizen – was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon and Stephen Colbert and featured the likes of Bill and Melinda Gates, Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Ellen Degeneres, Pharrell Williams and Shah Rukh Khan, among many others.
