Rain,Thunder And More Hit The UAE Today
Various parts of the country are affected by these conditions as reported by the National Center of Meteorology
Moderate to heavy rains are expected throughout the UAE today as reported by National Center of Meteorology (NCM) on their official Instagram page @officialuaeweather.
According to a representative from the NCM, heavy rain is expected today over Al Hamria Sharjah, Sidroh and Al Jeer Ras Al Khaimah, and light rain over Saih Sheib Abu Dhabi.
NCM have stated the following: “The country is affected by a state of atmospheric instability as the upper low pressure extending from the west over the country deepens and approaches, coinciding with the extension of a surface low pressure from the south, and the continued flow of clouds from the Red Sea towards the country.”
According to Gulf News, residents can expect these conditions to last all week in various parts of the country. Additionally, a yellow alert has been issued due to the convective cloud formation and current weather conditions.
