Saudi’s ‘Vision 2030’ Launches Future Women’s Civil Association
The initiative comes from the overarching goal of empowering women throughout the Kingdom
Saudi Arabia has recently outlined a Vision for 2030, and amongst the multiple initiatives that it brings, the Women’s Civil Association is one that focuses on the increased involvement of women across different fields.
The association’s goal is to support the work of Saudi women in the non-profit sector, and joins the various initiatives that come as a part of this Vision 2030 plan.
It was announced by the Saudi Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmed Al-Rajhi, and the vision has also launched its own motto to empower women in sustainable development, “…in the belief of the founders of the association in the importance of empowering, developing, promoting and educating women to keep pace with the goals of the Kingdom’s vision. The association’s objectives focused on four development paths to empower women to the labour market, develop personal skills, and to promote a culture of work and entrepreneurship for women and develop their professional and life capabilities.”
The Kingdom is taking steps towards bettering gender equality and empowering women all around the nation to ultimately develop its overall development strategy.
