Dubai Launches 10 Million Meals Campaign

Under the supervision of HH Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum, the nation’s biggest food distribution drive aims to support those affected by the COVID-19 crisis

As we approach the holy month of Ramadan, many of us are looking for ways to give back to those less fortunate.

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai announced a new initiative to help families who have been impacted by the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Under the supervision of HH Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of UAE Food Bank, wife of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai,  the ’10 Million Meals’ campaign aims to feed families and individuals who have been impacted by the economic consequences of the pandemic. In order to reinforce social solidarity an cohesion in the UAE, the biggest community campaign was launched here to help those in need especially during this time.

If you wish to contribute, you can simply log on to 10millionmeals.ae, click ’Donate Now’, fill in your details and add the number of meals you wish to donate. You can also SMS “Meal” depending on the amount you wish to donate with Dhs 8 per meal to 1034 or call (800) 4006 for more information.
