
The Dubai Mall Says They Are “Working To Contain All Leakages”
“Please be assured that the safety of mall visitors, staff and tenants remains our utmost priority”
Last night, videos went viral of The Dubai Mall flooding due to heavy rainfall. Shoppers posted on Instagram depicting scenes of the parking area, as well as stores such as Kate Spade, which saw water gushing through the doors.

Taking to social media, The Dubai Mall addressed the floods last night saying they are “working to contain all leakages.”
“We can confirm that #TheDubaiMall was affected by the heavy rainfall, causing leakages in limited areas,” they wrote.
“We are working to contain all leakages and the mall remains operational and open to the public. Mall staff is on the ground, ensuring the visitor experience remains unaffected. Please be assured that the safety of mall visitors, staff and tenants remains our utmost priority.”
Real estate developer Emaar also echoed the mall’s statement, ensuring shoppers that their safety is their only priority.
