When Is The Next UAE Public Holiday? Here’s What You Need To Know

Start planning that staycation; A five-day break is right around the corner…

Long weekends are never long enough, but the good news is another one might be just around the corner, giving us all some much needed rest and relaxation before the end of the years festivities kick off.

So… when exactly is the next UAE public holiday and long weekend?

It’s looking like it will be the first weekend of December.

UAE residents and nationals can expect to have a five-day long weekend at the start of next month, in honour of Commemoration Day (formerly known as Martyrs’ Day) and UAE National Day.

It’s expected that both the public and private sectors will have December 1 off from work (for Commemoration Day), along with December 2 and 3 for UAE National Day – meaning three full working days for those of us who are desperately craving some rest and relaxation in the sunshine.
