Tomorrowland is Back This Weekend
As part of this year’s Dubai Summer Surprises festivities the festival has been organised to adhere to strict social distancing rules and guidelines
One of the world’s biggest music festivals was cancelled due to COVID-19, however, its organisers have come up with a very creative solution to ensure it’s still a go…
Tomorrowland 2020 is kicking off this weekend as a digital music festival.
The Belgian electronic dance music extravaganza will take place online with a virtual presence from July 25 until July 26. It will stream exclusively from 19:00 – 2:00 at the Festival Arena in Dubai Festival City – the only physical venue in the world to show Tomorrowland to a live audience.
The digital version of the festival has an interactive online experience with special effects, avant-garde sound system, high-tech visuals and 3D projections, which have specially been created and designed by the creative team. Each stage will feature music from the world’s best artists such as Katy Perry, Steve Aoki and David Guetta as well as fireworks and laser shows that the festival is well-known for.
‘The People of Tomorrowland’ are being encouraged to put on their best festival outfits and set up their screens to create their own ‘Dreamville,’ wherever in the world they plan on celebrating.
