The Monte-Carlo founded steakhouse group has reopened its doors at Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel
Steakhouse fatigue is real; being married to a red meat aficionado, I have dined out at my fair share of restaurants that cater to the carnivorous. And while I’m certainly no vegan, there’s only so much steak tartare and ribeye one can eat before they start to crave… a bit of variety or, perhaps, a fresh outlook on what often becomes a dated dining concept.
Enter Beefbar, the award-winning dining concept that combines the elegance of a French brasserie with steakhouse classics.
Founded over a decade ago in Monte-Carlo by restaurant concepteur, Riccardo Giraudi, the steakhouse group prides itself on offering its patrons an experience that marries high-quality beef and delectable dishes with a modern yet playful energy.
A favourite with A-Listers (yes, Cardi B and Offset have been spotted at the group’s Paris location) – and having recently reopened its doors at Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel – the vibe is youthful and imaginative, incorporating the natural elements and French flair into its décor (and cheeky emoji-inspired design into the flatware), as guests dine on marble tabletops while looking out onto the famous Turtle Bay lagoon, a stone’s throw away from the likes of Il Borro and Flamingo Room by Tashas.
We started our evening off with the Beef Carpaccio before moving onto the Angus Beef Tacos and Calamari Crunch, crisped to perfection.
The star of the show that evening? The Miso Black Beef, the house’s “beefy” version of the black cod dish that is so often a favourite at other eateries, with a healthy dose of Truffle Fries on the side, followed by Beefbar’s famous Marble Chocolate Bar – possibly one of the most Instagrammable desserts in town.
While the steakhouse certainly caters to beef lovers from all walks of life, Beefbar also offers delicious vegetarian and pescatarian options for those looking for a lighter meal, such as the yellowtail Hamachi Crudo, Avocado Houmous and the Super Kale salad.
